Data We Collect & On-Device Privacy

Kindest is built with a privacy-first architecture. We do not harvest or sell your personal relationships, contacts, notes, or memories. By default:

• Relationship Data: Your actions, memories, contacts, and reminders are stored locally on your device and synced securely through your personal Apple iCloud account. We cannot read or access this data.
• Anonymous Analytics & Crash Reports: We may collect non-identifiable technical metrics (such as device model, OS version, and crash logs) using privacy-friendly tools to monitor performance and resolve bugs.
• Purchases: Subscription transactions are handled directly by Apple App Store Connect and RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details or credit card information.
• Support Inquiries: When you email us for customer support, we use your email address solely to communicate with you and resolve your inquiry.

How We Use Data

We do not sell any user data to third parties. Data is used exclusively to:

• Enable core app functionality, iCloud synchronization, and subscription unlocks.
• Ensure our applications remain secure, reliable, and bug-free.
• Provide customer support when requested by you.

Cloud Sync & Third-Party Services

Kindest uses Apple iCloud to securely back up and sync your data across your Apple devices. The handling and encryption of your synced data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and iCloud Security overview.

Data Deletion & Your Rights

Because your personal relationship data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud storage, you can delete your data at any time by removing it in the app or deleting the app from your device. If you have any questions or data requests, you can contact us at any time.
